Process of Mainz Kocht
To get an overview of what to expect, we would like to inform you here about the schedule.
How does Mainz Kocht! work?
You can register either alone or with a partner. In case you register alone, a partner will be assigned to you. Throughout the evening, you will participate in three courses – appetizer, main course, and dessert – which take place at intervals of 105 minutes. During these, you will meet two additional, but always different, teams. This gives you the opportunity to meet up to 12 new people over the course of the evening. One course will be assigned to you, which you will then prepare for your guests at the address you choose. For the other two courses, you will be the guests.
Registration
One to two days before the event, we will inform you by email about the specific schedule and which other teams you will meet during the meal. You will also learn about the intolerances and preferences of your guests.
Waiting List
To better plan teams, a portion of the timely registrations will initially end up on a waiting list. If this happens to you, you will receive an appropriate email from us. It is still very likely that you can participate, however, we may only be able to confirm your participation at very short notice.
